Bilqees Sarwar Foundation to grant 50 scholarships to orphan students at Forman Christian College (FCC). The announcement was made by Mr. Farhan Sarwar, President BSF, at the Opening Ceremony of 5th Annual Forman Christian College Model United Nations Conference (FORMUN V), Lasting Legacies.

FORMUN V, a four-day event took place at FCC to encourage the students through debates that embrace critical thinking, diplomacy and international relations. Over 1000 undergraduate and graduate students from renowned institutions including King Edward, Lahore University of Management Sciences and Beaconhouse National University attended the opening ceremony of FORMUN V. During the event, students prepared draft resolutions, plot strategy, negotiate, resolve conflicts and learn about the UN’s rules of procedure. Azeez ur Rehman and Ifra Manaal, students from the Committee Chair, spoke about importance and role of education in developing nations.

Mr. Farhan Sarwar, the Formanite Alumni attended the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Annual Forman Christian College Model United Nations Conference (FORMUN V) as a chief guest, alongside Mr. Tassaduq Hussain Gillani, Former Chief Justice of Pakistan. Mr. Farhan used the event to announce 50 new scholarships for orphaned students aging from 20 to 25 to help them continue their higher education. This commitment represents BSF’s legacy towards education in Pakistan as the first charitable initiative in 2017. It reflects BSF’s values on diversity and inclusivity.
