Bilqees Sarwar Foundation (BSF) has taken another initiative by granting scholarships to 10 selective students to appear in the “Renal Dialysis Technology Course” organized at Fatima Memorial Hospital. This 1-year duration course, will educate the dialysis technicians to learn about monitoring and operating the dialysis machinery. After completion of this course, these technicians will be provided with job opportunities at Bilqees Sarwar Hospital.

Chronic Kidney Disease has been declared as one of the most prevalent diseases across the globe. Reported by DAWN News, an average of 25 million people are suffering from kidney disease in Pakistan. Many of the kidney care associations along with government across the state are working for the prevention of CKD. To play a primitive role in this situation, BSF believes in giving back to society by helping the community members with the standard medical facilities as well as supporting the talented yet deserving students in the medical field.

In cooperation with Fatima Memorial Hospital, BSF is granting scholarships to 10 students worth PKR 270,000/- to appear in Renal Dialysis Technician Course. This 1-year course will educate the Dialysis technicians to monitor and operate dialysis machinery. The main purpose of this initiative is to enhance the quality standards of the kidney care treatment and also to facilitate the students in learning new technical skills and also provide them with equal employment opportunities. After completion of this course, these students will be recruited by BSH, Punjab’s Largest Dialysis Centre. This special grant was made by Mr. Farhan Sarwar, President BSF for taking step towards the eradication of unemployment. He added “I strongly believe that our young generation has the potential to learn about the new technology but they are lacking employment opportunities, therefore, I decided to equip them with latest skills and also provide them with job opportunities at Punjab’s Largest Dialysis Centre.
