18 May | The  Bilqees Sarwar Foundation (BSF) participated in the 14th CEO Summit Asia organised by the CEO Club Pakistan, Lahore. The conference was attended by 600 top performing CEOs from well-known organisations. It highlighted organizational Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the central role it plays in alleviating the suffering of the underprivileged. Mr. Farhan Sarwar, President Bilqees Sarwar Foundation and CEO H. Sheikh Noor-Ud-din & Sons was invited as guest of honour.

The conference was staged to highlight the top 100 performing CEOs of the time. The Honourable Federal Minister of State for Planning Development and Reforms, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, the Honourable Governor Punjab, Mr. Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, and the Honourable Governor Sindh, Mr. Muhammad Zubair, were present in the conference to appreciate their efforts.

Mr. Farhan Sarwar took part on a discussion panel, and his speech “Reshaping the Future: Build Greater Pakistan” was extremely well received. Mr. Sarwar also received the award for best performing CEO from the Honorable Mr. Ahsan Iqbal.

On the closing, 100 top performing CEOs were presented with the new edition of the book named “Best Performing CEOs and Companies of Pakistan – 2017” featuring interviews with successful business persons and organisations, in collaboration with CEO Club Pakistan and Manager Today. This ceremony was led by Mr. Ijaz Nisar, President CEO Club Pakistan.
