On the 35th Anniversary of Customs Public School, Bilqees Sarwar Foundation (BSF) being a responsive charity organization, once again hoisted the flag by raising the number of educational scholarships from 77 to 100 worth PKR 583,681 for the students of Customs Public School to address the cause of educational development. On the completion of 35 years of excellence, Mr. Farhan Sarwar, President BSF announced the cash rewards worth PKR 319,000 for the teachers and management for their dedication and commitment towards reshaping young brains, turning the matte coal into a glittering diamond.

“What we learn becomes a part of what we are”

Education is the most crucial element for a country’s development, educational institutions are held responsible for the continuous flow of education through the young brains by commending one’s efforts to learn and implementing those learnings to live a prosperous life. Our country is in the phase of development, modifying educational institution and strengthening careers are some vital steps to upgrade educational infrastructure for alleviating illiteracy from Pakistan.

Previously BSF has granted 77 scholarships to the students of CPS but on realizing the urge of capable minds to learn more, the President of Bilqees Sarwar Foundation Mr. Farhan Sarwar who is a great philanthropist and a quick analyzer of upcoming uncertainties, has enlarged the span of his kindness by increasing the count of scholarships from 77 to 100 on 35th anniversary of CPS which is a real demonstration of being a responsible citizen to nurture 100 educational careers.

While addressing the invitees on that fine event Mr. Omer Farooq – Ex-Chief Collector Customs & Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) said “I appreciate the indefatigable efforts shown by Bilqees Sarwar Foundation in alleviating illiteracy”

On 8th April, Customs Public School Trust celebrated its 35th anniversary at CPS Gulberg Campus. The arrangements at the ceremony were sponsored by Bilqees Sarwar Foundation. In this event Ms. Saira Zaheer – Principal CPS & Mrs. Shahida Khan – Coordinator School Affairs along with CPS management welcomed all customs officials including Mr. Omer Farooq – Ex-Chief Collector Customs & Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO), Mrs. Zeba Hayie Azhar– Chief Collector Customs (Central), Mr. Abbas Ali Babar – SA to Chief Customs Collector, Mr. Muhammad Jamil Nasir– Collector Appraisement (MCC Lahore), Mr. Muhammad Zulifqar Ali – Collector Preventive (MCC Lahore) and the valued trustee of the school, Mr. Farhan Sarwar – President Bilqees Sarwar Foundation & CEO H. Sheikh Noor-Ud-Din Sons Pvt. Ltd. Group of Companies and Mr. Iftikhar Ali Malik – CEO Guard Group of Companies were present. On this special day, Mr. Farhan Sarwar participated in the cake cutting ceremony along with Mrs. Zeba Haiye Azhar – Chief Collector Customs (Central). This ceremony was intended to mark another achievement of Customs Public School by celebrating the 35 years of excellence in the education sector.
